Israel and Palestinian militant groups including Hamas reached a ceasefire deal late Saturday which largely held through Sunday, offering at least a brief respite for Gaza after the region's most intense fighting since 2014. Earlier Saturday, two Gaza teenagers were killed when Israel launched dozens of airstrikes on Gaza City. Militants shot more than 100 rockets across the Gaza border, injuring three Israelis. The ceasefire was reportedly briefly breached by two additional rockets and two mortar bombs sent from Gaza. Israel responded by striking the mortar bomb launcher. The ceasefire has otherwise maintained.
