U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson took a medical leave of absence on Monday, to "focus all of my attention on resolving the health issues that arose over the weekend." Bryson faces possible felony hit-and-run charges in California for allegedly running his Lexus into two cars; he blames a seizure. Deputy Secretary Rebecca Blank will be in charge at the Commerce Department during Bryson's absence.
