Obama, Romney plan dueling economic speeches
President Obama, struggling with a recent flood of lousy economic news that has damaged his poll numbers, will try to turn things around Thursday afternoon by delivering what's being billed as a major campaign speech on the economy. Obama's speech is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. in Cleveland. Five minutes later, GOP rival Mitt Romney is slated to deliver a competing speech in Cincinnati.
