President Obama made a surprise appearance on the social-news site Reddit on Wednesday, participating in an AMA ("Ask Me Anything") session in which he took questions from users. The session attracted so many people that the site crashed, but it soon recovered and Obama stayed on for about 45 minutes. Obama responded to inquiries on everything from the most difficult decision of his first term ("The decision to surge our forces in Afghanistan") to the recipe for the White House's craft beer ("It will be out soon! I can tell from first hand experience, it is tasty"). Obama concluded by thanking Reddit's users, before signing off: "By the way, if you want to know what I think about this whole reddit experience — NOT BAD!"
