1. Amanda Bynes says she threw a vase, not a bong, out of her window
On Thursday night, former child star Amanda Bynes was arrested after throwing what she claims was a vase, and police claim was a bong, out of a window in her 36th-floor New York apartment. TMZ obtained a copy of the criminal complaint against Bynes, in which an officer alleged that Bynes grabbed "said bong" and threw it "out the window where numerous pedestrians were walking" — which, whether vase or bong, was enough for Bynes to be charged with reckless endangerment.

2. Someone paid $1.5 million to go into space with Leonardo DiCaprio
King of the World Leonardo DiCaprio is about to become the King of the Solar System — and a very lucky, very wealthy fan just ponied up a crazy amount of money to join him. At an auction at the Cannes festival, a mystery bidder paid $1.5 million for the chance to sit next to DiCaprio on Sir Richard Branson's upcoming Virgin Galactic space flight — where he or she will, we presume, spend the entire trip trying to get DiCaprio to teach them how to spit.

3. Elisabeth Moss says Jeremy Piven is "highly unprofessional"
During a Thursday appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss was asked about her onetime Speed the Plow costar Jeremy Piven, who dropped out of the play after claiming that he had come down with mercury poisoning after eating too much sushi. Piven was "being highly unprofessional," said Moss. "We were all surprised. It came out of nowhere. He just didn't come back one day" — which, does, we must admit, sound a little fishy.

4. That kid who asked Kate Upton to prom went with a different supermodel instead
Remember when that California teenager asked Kate Upton to prom via YouTube video, and everyone inexplicably paid attention to it for a week or so? Well, after tentatively accepting, Kate Upton was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. But don't feel too bad for her suitor — Upton's marginally less famous Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue co-model Nina Agdal volunteered to go with him instead. "Had such a great prom night. Thank you [Jake Davidson] for being an awesome date," tweeted Agdal, in what totally wasn't a blatant PR move.

5. Human Centipede 3 has officially started filming
Today, in news sure to unsettle all but the strongest of stomachs: The Human Centipede 3 has officially started filming. The gross-out horror trilogy earned its title and its notoriety from its central premise, in which a mad scientist sews a bunch of people's mouths and rectums in a chain in order to form a single being with a long digestive tract. Joblo adds that director Tom Six has already promised that the film will feature "a megalomaniac 500 + human centipede," so you have even more reason to avoid it than the first two.
