1. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have allegedly chosen a baby name
Can we finally stop calling the recently arrived progeny of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West the 'Kimye' baby? Perhaps. According to a report at Media Takeout, a nurse at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Hospital leaked that the celebrity couple have dubbed their newborn daughter Kaidence Donda West. And though the report remains unconfirmed, it does fall in line with the blood oath the Kardashian family swore to give their spawn names that begin with the letter "K." Adjust your skepticism accordingly. [New York]

2. The Real Housewives of New York might not be so real after all
A reality show that's not 100 percent real? Say it ain't so! That's the sad news at Radar Online, which reported that Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson — two stars of Bravo's Real Housewives of New York — were spotted staging a scene for the upcoming sixth season of the reality series. "Carole and Heather stood on Meeting House Lane and waited for the crew to call 'rolling' before walking toward the camera and sitting on a park bench," said an eyewitness source. "They even shot the scene twice!" Will the legendary integrity of the Real Housewives franchise ever be recovered? [Radar Online]

3. James Franco wants you to give him $500,000
Joining Veronica Mars and Zach Braff on the "millionaires who would like some free money anyway" list, James Franco has started a campaign to raise $500,000 to produce three short films based on his own short stories — because a single medium couldn't possibly capture the full artistic vision of James Franco. Reward tiers for donating include a $75 yearbook photo of Franco, a $450 voicemail greeting from Franco, and a $7,000 original painting by Franco, so Francophiles have plenty of options to choose from. Though it's tempting to keep poking fun at the project, it's worth noting that all hypothetical profits would go to charity — so if you would prefer to filter your donations through a self-aggrandizing art project, go nuts. 4. John Mayer's new song is probably about Taylor Swift
If you fight fire with fire, do you fight a terrible, passive-aggressive song with another terrible, passive-aggressive song? According to MTV News, John Mayer — who once said he was "humiliated" by ex Taylor Swift's scathing breakup anthem "Dear John" — has released a new song, "Paper Doll," that seems to contain a few pointed references to Swift. Mayer has yet to respond to the speculation, but you can probably expect more in-depth analysis in the days to come — if only to keep everybody talking about a song that would otherwise be completely ignored. 5. Ke$ha doesn't get why everyone is so fascinated by her urine-drinking
Yes, Ke$ha drank her own urine on camera for her MTV reality series My Crazy Beautiful Life — and she doesn't get why all you squares are so obsessed about it. "I didn't really know it was that big of a deal," said Ke$ha in an interview at E! Online. "I thought, like, it was something that, like, people sometimes do." But don't replace your toilet with a water bottle just yet: The pop star added that "it was gross" and that people "shouldn't do it." It's almost like using Ke$ha as a role model is a bad idea. [E!
