1. Britney Spears says her next album will be her "most personal album ever"
It's tough to imagine how Britney Spears could ever top the raw lyrical intensity of hits like "Baby One More Time" and "I'm a Slave 4 U" — but the pop star recently took to Twitter to announce that her upcoming eighth studio album will be her "most personal album ever," which is probably why she decided to debut the first single in the new Smurfs movie. While it's not clear exactly what Spears means by "most personal," it's probably safe to assume that she's not referring to how much of the album will be auto-tuned. [Ace Showbiz]

2. Paula Deen decides it's a good time to drop her agent
Having concluded that her career hasn't been going in the right direction lately, embattled celebrity chef Paula Deen has parted ways with longtime agent Barry Weiner. "Paula Deen has separated from her agent," confirmed Deen's spokeswoman. "She and her family thank him for the tireless effort and dedication over the many years" — and, we presume, for helping her to sculpt an entire career out of butter. [E! Online]

3. No, Robert Pattinson isn't dating Elvis Presley's granddaughter
Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson was dating Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough after the pair were allegedly photographed together — because it's absolutely impossible that a man and a woman could hang out and just be friends. But brokenhearted Twihards can dry those tears; on Thursday, a spokesman for Keough said that "Riley isn't dating Rob" — perhaps indicating that she's been on Team Jacob all along. [CBS News]

4. Mick Jagger's hair sells for $6,000
You may be a Rolling Stones fan — but you're not really a superfan until you've happily paid thousands of dollars for something that grew out of Mick Jagger's head a few decades ago. Earlier this week, a Rolling Stones fan had the satisfaction of paying $6,000 for a lock of Jagger's hair at a charity auction — beating the other prospective bidders who tried (and tried and tried) to acquire the item. 5. Kanye West says Pacific Rim is one of the best movies ever
Rapper/father/award show interrupter Kanye West can officially add another title to his increasingly extended list: Movie reviewer. After an early screening of the upcoming robots vs. aliens movie Pacific Rim, West tweeted that the blockbuster is "easily one of [his] favorite movies." Director Guillermo del Toro is "a master," continued West, somehow holding himself back from adding "but Michael Bay directed one of the best giant robot movies of all time."
