1. The BBC is sorry for broadcasting a picture of Prince William with a penis on his head
If you were watching the BBC this morning, you might have noticed that a picture of Prince William featured a unique makeover, which included eyeglasses, blackened teeth, a soul patch, and a large penis growing out of his forehead. But it's not fatherhood that had William looking more ragged than usual; it's a black marker, which was used to graffiti a picture of the prince inadvertently broadcast by the state broadcaster. The offending picture was part of a comedic music video called "I Could Have Married Kate" — a plan that apparently hinged on convincing Kate Middleton her husband had been replaced by a Star Trek-esque evil twin. 2. Sarah Michelle Gellar says she's game for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie
Now that Kickstarter has led both Veronica Mars fans and Zach Braff fans to the movies of their respective dreams, the eternal question remains: When is Buffy the Vampire Slayer coming back? In a recent interview, star Sarah Michelle Gellar threw fans a bone by revealing that she and series creator Joss Whedon would reunite "for the right story." Alas, our pleas for a Swans Crossing reboot remain unanswered. [E! Online]

3. David Yates might be directing that Scarface reboot
Who could possibly direct a reboot of Brian De Palma's absurdly gory action flick Scarface? If you guessed Harry Potter director David Yates, congratulations! You are completely insane, and also correct. According to Deadline, the director is in final talks to helm a reboot of the 1983 flick, which was already a reboot of a film of the same name from 1932. Further details about the film's cast and setting aren't available, so for now let's just assume the film will star a coked-up Harry Potter with a huge wand for his "little friend." [Deadline]

4. There are three more Avatar movies on the way
It was just a few years ago that James Cameron's Avatar tore up the box office with its then-revolutionary 3D technology and distinctly un-revolutionary story line. But though audiences have since soured on 3D technology, that hasn't stopped Cameron from tripling down on his would-be franchise. The director recently announced that he has teamed up with several high-profile screenwriters to produce Avatar 2, Avatar 3, and Avatar 4. "In writing the new films, I've come to realize that Avatar's world, story, and characters have become even richer than I anticipated," explained Cameron. Sounds to us like somebody watched FernGully again. [Deadline]

5. You can buy William Zabka's Karate Kid outfit for $100,000
Has your crane kick been looking a little rusty lately? Feeling too exhausted to sweep your apartment — let alone any legs? 80s Tees has the perfect cure: The Cobra Kai karate gi worn by William Zabka in the climactic scene of 1984's The Karate Kid, which can be yours today for a cool $100,000. According to the product description, the gi was originally obtained from a collector on eBay — which is so, so much less cool than winning it by kicking someone in the face during a karate tournament.
