1. Mark Wahlberg wants to take over the Iron Man franchise
Unlike Batman or Superman, only one actor — Robert Downey Jr. — has played Iron Man in his four big-screen outings to date. But if Downey were to ever retire from the role, another actor is ready to step into his metal suit: Mark Wahlberg. "I would like to take over the Iron Man franchise," said Wahlberg in an interview with Yahoo! Movies, adding that he thinks he's never played a superhero because he "kind of [likes] playing real people" — like, say, a guy whose best friend is a stoner teddy bear. [Yahoo! Movies]

2. Amanda Seyfried proposes a Les Miserables porn parody
If you're a Les Miserables fan who has been dreaming a dream about a sequel, then Amanda Seyfried — who starred in last year's Oscar-nominated adaptation of the musical — has an unconventional proposal for you. "I think Les Mis would be a really good porn parody," said Seyfried in an interview with GQ. "Ah, that would be amazing!" Because nothing gets people turned on like a bleak, three-hour musical about a homeless prostitute in post-revolutionary France. [GQ]

3. Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles reboot has been pushed back to August 2014
Transformers director Michael Bay's upcoming reboot of the Ninja Turtles franchise has already made fans nervous about the future of the franchise, and a recently announced delay of the film's release means that they'll be holding their breath for a whole two months longer. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been pushed back from its originally announced June 6, 2014 release date to August 8, 2014 — presumably so Bay would have time to add a few dozen more explosions. 4. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West walked around in Los Angeles
It's been just two short months since the birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North West, and the celebrity couple is already walking around like they're normal people, and not the demigods we all know them to be. Fortunately, TMZ is on the case, with exclusive photos of the couple leaving a Los Angeles medical facility on Wednesday. And before you ask, yes, North West is in the picture, too — in a carrier that leaves her entirely covered by a shroud. So if you'd like to see a very nice off-white blanket, feel free to click though. [TMZ]

5. Duck Dynasty is the highest-rated nonfiction series in cable history
A&E's Duck Dynasty — which is, alas, a reality show, and not an all-water fowl remake of the '80s primetime soap opera — is officially quacking all the way to the bank. The show's fourth season premiere, which aired on Wednesday night, earned a whopping 11.8 million viewers, which is enough to make it the highest-rated nonfiction series in cable history. Hey, Bravo: Maybe it's time to try The Real Housewives of West Monroe, Louisiana. [HitFix]
