David Duchovny sued the London Daily Mail last week for publishing a story suggesting that he’d had an extramarital affair with his tennis instructor. “This is false,” said the lawsuit. “It never happened.”
The actor, who recently announced his separation from his wife, Téa Leoni, after being treated for sex addiction, is seeking $1 million in damages for defamation and invasion of privacy. The tabloid removed
the story from its website but made no comment.
