No Country for Old Men (2007)
A drug deal gone awry releases a bloody tide of violence in Joel and Ethan Coen’s stark crime drama. It won four Oscars, including Best Picture. 9:20 a.m., Starz

The Perfect Storm (2000)
Top-notch production values mark the film version of Sebastian Junger’s best-seller about Gloucester fishermen caught in the “storm of the century.” George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg star. 1 p.m., HBO

Treasure Island (1950)
Robert Newton gives the definitive portrayal of pirate Long John Silver in this excellent Disney version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic yarn. Noon, TCM
