The rate of teenage suicide in the United States has tripled over the past 60 years, and reporter Edie Magnus visits two high schools that are tackling the problem head-on. Hamilton High School near Cincinnati is one of a number of schools that are trying out “challenge days,” when classes are suspended and teens are encouraged to open up about themselves. Meanwhile, Clarkstown North High School outside New York City tries to draw teens out privately through a website that mimics popular social networks.
