Gossip: Farrah Fawcett

The TV documentary about Farrah Fawcett’s impending death from cancer has spawned accusations of exploitation.

A widely watched TV documentary about Farrah Fawcett’s impending death from cancer has spawned competing accusations of exploitation among the 62-year-old actress’ friends and associates. In a lawsuit, producer Craig Nevius says he was unjustly forced out of Farrah’s Story, which drew 9 million viewers, and accuses Fawcett’s friend Alana Stewart of demanding $200,000 for her role in the program. O’Neal said Nevius was forced out because he didn’t share Fawcett’s determination to give a brutally candid view of her suffering. “We started to lose faith in this guy,” O’Neal said.
