Breaking Bad's series finale has proven divisive among both critics and fans — but it's tough to imagine anyone objecting to the series' brilliant alternate ending, which will be included in Breaking Bad's upcoming complete series box set. In a crossover with star Bryan Cranston's other major TV series, Malcolm in the Middle, Cranston's Hal wakes up in bed alongside sitcom wife Lois, where he learns that all of Breaking Bad was a nightmare induced by eating deep-fried Twinkies.

"I was this… meth dealer," says Hal. "I was this world-class chemist and I cooked and I sold this ultra-pure methamphetamine. There was a guy who never spoke. He just rang a bell the whole time! And there was another guy who was a policeman, or a DEA agent, and I think he was my brother or something. He looked like the guy from The Shield! And then there was this other little guy who was a waif — a man-child kid who always looked like he was wearing his older brother's clothes. And he would always say things like, 'Hey, bit… The B-word. He would use the B-word a lot. He would say, 'Yo, B-word!' 'Yay, science, B-word!'"

Hal goes on to reference several more key characters and moments from Breaking Bad, to Lois' eye-rolling derision. She finally convinces him to go back to sleep, and he goes to bed relived that all of Breaking Bad was just a dream… or was it?
