1. Yes, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged now

The fairy tale romance between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has reached its inevitable climax: Last night, West proposed marriage to Kardashian using a method that conveniently doubles as a parody of what a Kanye West proposal would be like. The rapper took Kardashian to San Francisco's AT&T Park, where she was presented with a flashing Jumbotron that read "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!! [sic]." A 50-piece orchestra was in attendance, and fireworks went off over the field after Kardashian accepted. The couple has not yet set a date for the ceremony — but given what happened the last time Kardashian had a big splashy celebrity wedding, you can expect to hear a lot more about it in the months to come. 2. You can probably guess the youngest, richest British celebrities

If you're a young Brit looking to strike it rich, let's hope you're on Simon Cowell's radar. Heat magazine's annual list of the richest British celebrities under 30 was topped by the five boys known as One Direction, who were categorized here, as always, as a single unit. The top five was rounded out by Daniel Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson, Keira Knightley, and Emma Watson — so if you can't sing, maybe you should try being a wizard or a vampire. [heat]

3. CSI invites fans to celebrate its 300th episode by not watching it

In order to celebrate the 300th episode of its inexplicably popular run, the creative team behind CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has announced an ambitious plan to turn the episode into the TV equivalent of a scavenger hunt. Zap2It reports that the upcoming milestone will have the number "300" hidden in it no less than 14 times — giving fans the chance to pay really close attention to the show instead of, you know, actually sitting back and watching it. 4. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton are close to signing a deal for Beetlejuice 2

Start stocking your shelves now, Hot Topic: According to Variety, Tim Burton and Michael Keaton are on the verge of signing a deal that would finally reunite them for a Beetlejuice sequel more than 25 years after the original movie hit theaters. The news of Michael Keaton's audition is sure to come as a disappointment to Robin Thicke, who was clearly lobbying for the role at this year's Video Music Awards. [Variety]

5. Kevin Connolly is still threatening to make the Entourage movie

Despite its enduring message of laid-back bro love, the film adaptation of HBO's Entourage has been dogged by reports that its principal cast members are embroiled in a fight over salaries. But you can go ahead and put those celebratory brewskis on ice, Entourage fans: According to star Kevin Connolly, the movie is essentially a done deal. "It's gonna happen," warns Connolly in an interview with TMZ. "It's not official yet, but it will be" — as soon as Vince stops wasting an entire season hemming and hawing over whether or not to do it. [TMZ]
