Going into Tuesday's Michigan GOP presidential primary, polls show Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum neck-and-neck in the crucial state. "I'm going to win in Michigan and I'm going to win across the country," Romney told a crowd Monday night. The Santorum campaign has taken to making robocalls to Democrats in Michigan, where Dems are allowed to vote in Republican primaries. 3. DOZENS FOUND DEAD IN SYRIA MASS KILLINGS

4. TWO CONFIRMED DEAD IN OHIO SCHOOL SHOOTING
A second victim has been confirmed dead after a teenager opened fire in a high school cafeteria in a suburb of Cleveland on Monday. Another four people were wounded. The gunman was arrested a half mile from the school, and the FBI has yet to comment on a motive. [CBS News]

5. SLEEPING PILLS LINKED TO HIGHER DEATH RISK

6. PROVIEW SEEKS GLOBAL RIGHTS TO IPAD NAME
Proview Electronics, a Taiwan-based company, is seeking to take its fight to regain rights to the iPad name beyond China. The company insists it owns the trademark in mainland China, a matter it's already taken to the courts there. 7. STRANDED CRUISE SHIP BEING TOWED TO SEYCHELLES
A French fishing vessel on Tuesday started towing a crippled Italian cruise ship in the Indian Ocean. The ship, the Costa Allegra, lost power in a fire on Monday. It is the sister ship of the Costa Concordia, the vessel that ran aground in Italy in January. The Costa Allegra, with more than 1,000 passengers and crew members on board, is expected to reach a nearby Seychelles island on Wednesday. [Associated Press]

Matt Kenseth won his second Daytona 500 in four years on Monday night. The victory followed a rain delay, the first in the race's 54-year history, and a fiery crash when Juan Pablo Montoya slammed into a jet dryer.
