1. ROMNEY AND SANTORUM CLASH IN TIGHT PRIMARY

Going into Tuesday's Michigan GOP presidential primary, polls show Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum neck-and-neck in the crucial state. "I'm going to win in Michigan and I'm going to win across the country," Romney told a crowd Monday night. The Santorum campaign has taken to making robocalls to Democrats in Michigan, where Dems are allowed to vote in Republican primaries. Arizona also holds its primary today; Romney has been well ahead in polls there. [Associated Press]
