The recording: Here is evidence (if further evidence were needed) that marijuana may cloud your judgment. Robert J. Michelson of Farmington, Conn., wasn't sure about the legal implications of growing weed in his house. So he called someone guaranteed to know — the cops. Michelson dialed 911 and asked the dispatcher "how much trouble you can get in for one plant [of marijuana]." The would-be herbalist soon found out, as local police traced Michelson's call and arrested him for possession of marijuana. He was released on $5,000 bail.
The reaction: Well, "they don't call it dope for nothing, you know," says Nacktman at Carolina Naturally. "You really have to wonder if he was high when he made the phone call," adds Frances Martel at Mediaite. It's "quite possibly the least stressful 911 call ever recorded."
