Though Apple has launched its new, improved iPhone to general acclaim, a biting spoof commercial is getting almost as much attention. Skewering Apple for the pre-launch "stolen iPhone debacle," an ongoing source of embarrassment for the company, the viral spot stars the hilariously "terrifying" Jane Lynch ("Glee") and comic Kassem G. in a parody of the "not-so-missed" old "Mac vs PC" ads, says Kwame Opam in Geekosystem. Lynch also takes a swipe at exclusive iPhone carrier AT&T's reputation for "dropped calls," says Brenna Ehrlich in Mashable, which may give those iPhone customers who were frustrated by Jobs' failure to announce a deal with rival carrier Verizon "a little (cold) comfort." Watch the ad, produced by online web network Take 180, for yourself (warning: salty language):
