The consensus seems to be that the 2010 Oscars ceremony was a bit of a snoozer, but the aggressive on-stage tactics of a co-winner in the little-watched category of Best Documentary Short briefly spiced things up. Producer Elinor Burkett, who reportedly wasn't supposed to say a word on stage, interrupted director Roger Ross Williams' speech as he accepted the award for their film, "Music by Prudence," about the Zimbabwean singer-songwriter Prudence Mabhena. Burkett and Williams had feuded over creative control, and the dispute briefly went to court before they settled. Was the on-stage elbowing just Oscars excitement bubbling over, or did Burkett pull "a Kanye" and rudely upstage Williams? Watch the exchange and see:
