Where to flee if Obama wins
Where can conservatives go if Barack Obama wins the election? asked Chris Wilson Slate.com. And what if the Democrats win both houses of Congress?

Where can conservatives go if Barack Obama wins the election? asked Chris Wilson. It’s a question that must naturally be considered, given that “conservatives have no Canada.” In 2004, you’ll remember, many liberals threatened to move to Canada if George W. Bush won a second term. (He did, but only a few liberals made good on their threat.) Now, most red-blooded Republicans would prefer not to flee, but it might be wise to have an emergency plan—just in case the Democrats win both houses of Congress, the country tilts way left, and “Barack Obama appoints Michael Moore to the Supreme Court.” Let’s consider the options. Israel is not only one of the few countries with a largely positive view of the U.S., it also has a “strong aversion to Islamofascism, unbeatable biblical history, and a strong defense.” Poland has a recent history of fervent anti-communism, and is now both enthusiastically capitalist and devoutly Catholic. The Cayman Islands, which have no taxation, offer wealthy Republicans the ultimate in free-market economics. And Switzerland is a paradise for gun ownership, with every home armed for national defense. So take heart, Republicans. No matter what happens, you have alternatives.
