Belgium-based InBev, the world’s largest brewer, said its fourth-quarter profit more than doubled, to $1.36 billion, thanks largely to one-time gains from real estate sales. The brewer has operations in 30 countries and sells its beer in more than 130. Beer drinkers in Russia and Brazil—where InBev controls about two-thirds of the market—more than made up for declining sales in Western Europe, North America, and Asia. (Bloomberg)
