Rupert Murdoch took control of Dow Jones and its flagship paper, The Wall Street Journal, yesterday, after Dow Jones shareholders formally approved the takeover by Murdoch’s News Corp. Several senior Dow Jones executives, including Journal publisher L. Gordon Crovitz, were told to vacate their offices by the end of the day, and their successors will move in as early as this morning. (The New York Times, free registration required)
