London-born billionaire Joseph Lewis has probably become the largest shareholder of Bear Stearns, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. With 8.1 million shares, or a 7 percent stake, Lewis owns more shares than Bear Stearns Chairman and CEO James Cayne, who has 5.8 percent of his company. (New York Daily News)
