The Week Contest
This week’s question: Actress turned lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow has opened a Goop Lab store in Los Angeles, filled with such products as “sex dust,” healing stones, and “psychic vampire repellent.” Please come up with the name of another useful new product of this type that Paltrow could sell.
Last week’s contest: London sewer workers are using high-powered jet hoses to break up a giant “fatberg”— a 250-yard-long, 130-ton mass of congealed cooking oil, used diapers, wet wipes, and other flushed refuse that is blocking a major sewer pipe. If Hollywood filmmakers were to make a movie documenting these workers’ heroic efforts, what could they call it?
THE WINNER: “Die Lard” —Anna Lopez-Carr, Goleta, Calif.
SECOND PLACE: “Men in Blecch”
Janine Witte, New Hope, Pa.
THIRD PLACE: “Dungkirk” —Fletcher Wroten, Petaluma, Calif.
