For managing your money
■ Wallet has more tools than any other money-management app. It syncs with your bank account, tracks spending, plans bill payments, helps you stick to budgets, and even identifies unnecessary recurring charges. Plus, it “packs all these services into an accessible, colorful interface.”
■ Spendee provides a running overview of your financial life by tracking every dollar that flows in and out of your bank account. It creates “delightful” graphs and other visual representations that’ll help you identify the categories (such as food and clothes) where you’re spending the most.
■ Xero costs $9 a month, but it can be worth that to self-employed and freelance workers, providing tools “for everything from issuing invoices to calculating taxes.” Its expense-tracking tools are particularly handy: Snap a photo of a gas receipt, for example, and Xero will record the expense.
