Original Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson bashes reboot starring women: 'If they're not funny at least hopefully it'll be sexy'

Paul Feig, who directed such recent, female-driven hits as Bridesmaids and The Heat, announced on Twitter earlier this week that he's making a Ghostbusters reboot, featuring "hilarious women."

Original Ghostbusters actor Ernie Hudson has some qualms about this.

"All-female I think would be a bad idea," Hudson told The Telegraph. "I don't think the fans want to see that."

Lest you get the wrong idea, Hudson promises he loves females and thinks they should be included — just probably not, you know, in starring roles: "I hope that if they go that way at least they'll be funny, and if they're not funny at least hopefully it'll be sexy," he said.
