Ukraine will likely deny access to Russian aid trucks

After NATO and Ukraine expressed skepticism that Russia's convoy of aid trucks headed to war-torn eastern Ukraine was a good-faith effort to relieve a humanitarian crisis, the Associated Press reports that Ukraine will deny the trucks entry unless they are unloaded by the Red Cross.

With more than 1,300 deaths in the fight between pro-Russian separatists and government forces in Ukraine, aid from the Red Cross would be welcome. But Ukraine said the trucks Russia sent were not approved by the Red Cross and could be a military operation disguised as aid.
