You'll want to stick around for the twist at the end of Weird Al's 'Royals' parody

To promote the release of his new album Mandatory Fun, "Weird Al" Yankovic has been dropping a new music video every day. It started with "Tacky," which turned Pharrell's "Happy" into a takedown of obnoxiousness, and continued with "Word Crimes," a "Blurred Lines" parody that doubled as a handy grammar lesson. Today's "Foil" — a parody of Lorde's "Royals" — is his strangest yet.

As it begins, "Foil" feels like the latest in a long string of food-based Weird Al songs, including beloved classics like "Fat" and "Eat It." But after offering up a few handy tips about food preservation, "Foil" takes an unexpected turn for the sinister. Watch the video below (if you're not too busy watching the skies). --Scott Meslow
