"Gone are the days when you could impress friends with your old oak rocking chair," says Micasa Lab, the Swedish company that developed iRock ($1,300), an iPad-charging rocking chair. This high-tech piece of furniture doesn't just rock — it's equipped with a generator, a built-in iPad dock, and a speaker system. However, the iRock is not for the impatient. A whole hour of rocking, says Doug Aamoth at TIME, will only charge your third-generation iPad up to 35 percent capacity. Source: TIME
