France struck the Islamic State-held city of Raqqa, Syria, on Sunday, the defense ministry said. Ten fighter jets dropped 20 bombs, reportedly hitting a command post, a weapons warehouse, and a terrorist recruiting center, Reuters and ABC News report.

The airstrike comes two days after a series of terrorist attacks, which ISIS has claimed responsibility for, killed at least 132 people in Paris.

French President François Hollande has called the attacks on his nation an "act of war."
