A Washington Post editorial cartoon depicting Ted Cruz's 5- and 7-year-old daughters as monkey-like characters on leashes has come under fire, from Cruz himself. "Classy…stick w/attacking me — Caroline & Catherine are out of your league," Cruz tweeted in response. Marco Rubio also chimed in, ripping the cartoon as "disgusting."

The drawing by Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Anne Telnaes was in response to the apparent use of Cruz's daughters in political ads and on the campaign trail.
