David Bowie posthumously lands his first number one album

It's been a full week since David Bowie died, but fans have given the beloved artist a parting gift: His first number one album. Bowie's most recent album, Blackstar, topped the charts with 181,000 copies sold — more than 100,000 more than his previous album, 2013's The Next Day.

The greatest hits collection Best of Bowie also shot up the charts, landing at number four with 94,000 copies sold.
