Maryland's Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that Baltimore Police Officer William Porter must testify against his colleagues, who also face charges in the death of Freddie Gray, a black man who died in April after suffering a fatal spinal cord injury while in police custody. Porter, one of six officers charged, had requested to not be compelled to testify against Officer Caesar Goodson and Sgt. Alicia White. The court turned down his request and also reversed a judge's previous order denying prosecutors' request for Porter to testify against the three other officers involved in the case.

Porter's trial ended in a hung jury in December. His new trial date is June 13.
