Bernie Sanders leads in the must-win delegate-heavy state of Michigan, The New York Times reports. With 93 percent of precincts reporting, Sanders holds a 51 percent lead on Hillary Clinton's 48 percent.

Sanders lost yet another Southern state to Clinton earlier on Tuesday, with Mississippi being called for Clinton within minutes of polls closing. While Sanders remains the underdog in Michigan, he hopes to win over blue-collar voters. "Sanders is still in the race to make the point, but it's not a close contest. Michigan will further drive that point home," political analyst David Wasserman told USA Today.
