Megyn Kelly is blaming her short-lived spat with Sean Hannity on their shared heritage.

On Thursday, Kelly posted a photo with her fellow Fox News host (wearing a somewhat strained smile) and the caption: "We're Irish. It's complicated. #friends." Just a day earlier on her show The Kelly File, Kelly told her guest, GOP strategist Stuart Stevens, that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are only doing interviews with hosts deemed safe: "Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10:00, will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days, which doesn't exactly expand the tent."

Hannity didn't like that, tweeting to Kelly moments later that she should be mad at Clinton because "clearly you support her," adding that Trump "did talk to u." Just 24 hours later, it looks like cooler heads have prevailed — or they received a strongly worded letter from the boss.
