Close down beaches to the public, then get caught sunbathing on one? Boooooo! Have your staff lie about this? Hiss! Audition for a sports radio talk show but spend most of the time insulting callers? Throws tomatoes. On Tuesday night, he had the nerve to catch a foul ball at the Mets game, just sticking his left hand out and catching it without having to get up from his prime seat, and the booing was so extreme it caught the attention of the announcers. "Nice to see him get from the beach here to the ballpark," Dan McLaughlin quipped.

After doling out a few high-fives to his neighbors, Christie handed the ball to a child sitting behind him, and while the jeers should have turned to cheers or even just a dull roar, they didn't. To top it all off, the Mets didn't win, losing to the St. Louis Cardinals 5-0 — and I think we can all agree whose fault that was. Boooooo!!!!
