Watch Bill Hader embrace his inner Anthony Scaramucci
By the time fall rolls around and Saturday Night Live starts a new season, it will be too late to make fun of all of the crazy things that happened over the summer. This year, though, Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che came back to work early, and they brought The Mooch with them.
In a few weeks, Anthony Scaramucci will be a forgotten member of the Trump Circus, the clown that got shot out of the cannon and then thrown into the lion's cage by John Kelly (with Stephen Bannon's blessing), but on Thursday night, he made a cameo on Weekend Update in the form of Bill Hader. When asked why he was there, the faux former White House communications director said his name had been uttered three times, and when that happens, "I appear like a goomba Beetlejuice."
Hader/Scaramucci riffed a bit on his infamous comments to The New Yorker, and then explained why he thinks the world can't get enough of him. "I'm like human cocaine," he said. "You got a little bump of me, I made you feel excited, but I was out of your system too quick. Now that I'm gone you're all depressed and edgy and you're trying to figure out how to score some more Scaramooch." Watch the video below. Catherine Garcia
