Sean Spicer is having a great week. On the heels of finally meeting the pope, Spicer will have a "farewell party" thrown in his honor Thursday by his colleagues on the occasion of his official departure from the White House, the Washington Examiner reports.

Spicer resigned as White House press secretary in July after the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as communications director. Scaramucci was ultimately ousted after less than two weeks on the job. Spicer, though, confirmed he would not be returning to the administration (nor, disappointingly, would he be going on Dancing with the Stars).
