Driver crashes into least 14 pedestrians in Melbourne, in what police call 'a deliberate act'

On Friday afternoon in Australia, a car crashed into pedestrians on a busy street in downtown Melbourne, injuring up to 19 people. Police arrested the driver and a second man, and some of the injuries are critical. "At this stage we believe it is a deliberate act, however we do not know the motivation," Melbourne Police Cmdr. Russell Barrett told reporters, putting the number of injured at 14.
