President Trump and Kim Jong Un are meeting for the first time in Singapore during a historic one-on-one summit.

They greeted each other with a handshake, and pleasantries. The United States has called for the complete denuclearization of North Korea, and Kim wants an ease in sanctions against his country. After their meeting, they will hold a working lunch and expanded meeting with their top advisers. The pair have sparred via Twitter and North Korean state media, with Trump calling Kim "Little Rocket Man" and Kim calling Trump a "mentally-deranged U.S. dotard."
