The bar is high to earn the title of "most out-there political ad of 2018," but Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) has just submitted a worthy contender.

DeSantis recruited his entire family to help convey the message — in the most crystal-clear way possible — that he fully supports President Trump. His wife, Casey DeSantis, opens the campaign ad by reminding viewers that Trump has endorsed the Florida lawmaker. It quickly cuts to a montage of DeSantis playing with his children, encouraging one to "build the wall" with blocks, and reading another a story about Trump saying "you're fired."
