You can no longer watch porn on Vine

Vine, the Twitter-owned short video app, is slamming down the ban-hammer on users who upload porn. Starting immediately, sexually explicit content will no longer be viewable because the six-second clips are not a "good fit for the community."

Amateur porn has been pervasive on the social network since its debut last year. While Vine hadn't previously had any official rules against users uploading porn, Apple did force the app to carry an undesirable disclaimer warning of "frequent/intense sexual content or nudity" before it could be downloaded. Vine's new rules forbid basically all sexually explicit content — real or animated. Sexually suggestive content will still be allowed, as long as it's clothed.

Vine users who have uploaded tons of porn in the past will be asked to remove their old content.
