Young Lee, one of the co-founders of the frozen yogurt chain Pinkberry, was sentenced to seven years in prison without parole for beating up a homeless man with a tire iron in a June 2011 attack.

Lee and another man viciously attacked the victim for allegedly flashing an explicit tattoo at Lee's fiancee. Lee had ordered the man to kneel down and apologize, and even though the man complied, Lee and his alleged accomplice beat him up anyway, leaving him with several gashes to the face and a broken arm. Last November, Lee was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon and causing great bodily injury. The jury didn't believe his claim that the homeless man was threatening his life.

Pinkberry has repeatedly distanced itself from Lee since he departed the company four years ago.
