The Washington Nationals' Jayson Werth makes surprisingly perfect Mean Girls reference in post-game interview

Apparently, even baseball players enjoy the classic high-school comedy Mean Girls.

Following the Washington Nationals' 5-2 win over the Mets on Friday night, MASN's Dan Kolko grabbed the Nats' Jayson Werth for a post-game on-field interview. Werth went through the usual motions ("We got the W, that's the most important thing.") before wrapping things up in the best possible way.

"And good for you, Dan Kolko! You go, Dan Kolko!" Werth exclaimed before heading for the clubhouse.

For those not familiar, a classic scene in Mean Girls features the same line, but with "Glen Coco" instead of Dan Kolko. Luckily, notes The Washington Post, the reporter took it in stride:
