Rand Paul: 'War hawk' Hillary Clinton would have trouble against me in 2016

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says he would fare well against Hillary Clinton in a prospective 2016 matchup by attracting plenty of left-leaning voters leery of Clinton's "gung-ho" hawkish tendencies.

In an interview with Meet the Press, Paul says Americans are "coming more and more to where I am," with respect to foreign policy. "I think that's what scares Democrats the most," he says, "is that in a general election — were I to run — there's going to be a lot of independents and even some Democrats who say, 'You know what? We are tired of war.'"
