The protests weren't just in Ferguson, Missouri Monday night: Several rallies were held across the United States to peacefully protest the grand jury decision to not indict Darren Wilson in the killing of Michael Brown.

Police departments in major cities were ready for large demonstrations, The Associated Press reports. In Oakland, California, protestors made their way onto Interstate 580, stopping traffic. In Los Angeles, a group gathered in Leimert Park, where organizers held a news conference calling for changes in police policies.
