President Trump issued another denial Monday that he raped writer E. Jean Carroll in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman in the 1990, telling The Hill: "I'll say it with great respect: No, 1, she's not my type. No. 2, it never happened," and she is "totally lying." Trump has used similar language in denying some of the other dozen-plus public allegations of sexual assault against him. Carroll told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday night, "I love that I'm not his type," but Trump's response to the myriad allegations — "He denies, he turns it around, he threatens, and he attacks" — is damaging. Carroll laid out her allegations in New York on Friday, and two friends confirmed she told them about the alleged rape after it happened 23 years ago.
