Six Democratic presidential candidates are now onstage in Des Moines, participating in the final debate before Iowa kicks off voting in the 2020 Democratic primary on Feb. 3. The debate, moderated by CNN and the Des Moines Register, features the race's four frontrunners — former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg — plus billionaire Tom Steyer and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.). They have fielded questions about the USMCA trade deal, child care, foreign policy, and why they would be the best person to serve as commander in chief. Sanders and Warren also touched on the recent report that in 2018, he told her he didn't believe a woman could be elected president. Sanders said he "didn't say it," and it was "incomprehensible" to think he did. Warren responded she "disagreed," but was "not here to fight with Bernie."
