Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly on Wednesday spoke out in support of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who was recently fired from his National Security Council job, saying he did the right thing by reporting President Trump's Ukraine call. "He did exactly what we teach them to do from cradle to grave," Kelly said at a Drew University event. "He went and told his boss what he just heard." Kelly went on to compare Trump's call to an "illegal order," saying, "We teach them, 'Don't follow an illegal order. And if you're ever given one, you'll raise it to whoever gives it to you that this is an illegal order, and then tell your boss.'"
