A tale of endurance from AMC's annual Best Picture Marathon

Just a few hours ago, I reached the end of an event that I anticipate and dread each year: AMC's 24-hour Best Picture Marathon. Every Best Picture nominee for the year is screened, in a single day, for an increasingly delirious audience. This was 2014's lineup:
